Big Bubba Filter housings are made of rugged, glass-reinforced polypropylene so they will not chip, rust or dent. Because all wetted surfaces are non-metallic, they are ideal when chemical compatibility is an issue and for seawater applications.
Big Bubba Housings are an economical replacement for stainless steel filtration equipment because of their non-metallic construction and today’s high cost of stainless steel.
Watts whole house filters with our proprietary pleated activated carbon cartridge conserve water because backwashing is not required, making them 100% efficient.
Cartridges ordered separately.

Easy Change-Outs
Cartridge replacement is easy as 1-2-3:
- Remove swing bolts.
- Remove lid.
- Rotate cartridge 1/4 turn and pull-up.
Parallel installation
Parallel installations are recommended to achieve high flow rates, by installing filters on a common manifold, feeding all filters installed in a row.
Series installation
Series installations are recommended for applications such as surface water filtration, where cartridges having different micron ratings are used.
Applications:
- Whole-house filtration
- Commercial filtration
- Industrial filtration
- Pre-filtration for reverse osmosis equipment
- Community water systems
- Seawater applications due to their non-corrosive construction
- Water for livestock and poultry
