The PROFINET and PROFIBUS Power Hub is a modular, motherboard-based power supply system for four PROFIBUS PA segments.
It consists of one or two motherboards and various plug-in modules for power supply to the fieldbus segment, a connection to PROFIBUS DP or PROFINET and Advanced Diagnostics for the physical layer.
Data telegrams and power supply are transmitted via the same cable to the field device. The power supply components of the segment coupler put the power on the cable. They are certified for Zone 2 installation.
