For mounting the interface modules of the remote I/O LB system, Pepperl+Fuchs offers backplanes for use in Zone 2, Class I/Div. 2 explosion-hazardous areas.
Different sizes are available as base or extension backplanes. They carry any combination of single-width and dual-width remote I/O modules, giving users high flexibility when configuring individual remote I/O solutions.
Due to a modular design concept, a base backplane can be combined with an extension backplane, which allows building remote I/O field stations of precisely the right size.
