Enclosure leakage sensors are a diagnostic accessory of the FieldConnex family of fieldbus components.
When connected in parallel to a fieldbus segment spur, the leakage sensors monitor for water ingress. An alarm sent to the control room contains the spur location. Operators and maintenance teams receive warnings before moisture or water can cause harm to fieldbus performance.
