Ultraviolet Purification

Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to kill microorganisms. The adsorption of UV light by the DNA and proteins in the microbial cell results in the inactivation of the microorganism. Ultraviolet Purification is a safe, clean, easy to maintain method of assuring that water is free of bacteria.

It is important to properly size the UV based upon the application, and it is equally important to use a good pre-filter to remove any dirt or debris that may be present in the raw liquid supply.
