Product Information
Workers in extreme temperatures wear Dual Action Personal Air Conditioners to minimize heat stress, cold stress, and fatigue while improving comfort and productivity. Cold or Warm Air circulates through a Diffuse Air Vest, hood, or helmet to distribute cooling or heating over the upper body.
- Vest can be worn under other protective clothing
- Provides continuous, consistent air delivery
- Collar unfolds to deliver air to the neck & face
- Vest allows full range of motion with no airflow restrictions
- Can be easily configured to provide hot or cold air for all season, all environment comfort.

Additional Information
How it works:
Dual Action Personal Air Conditioners use filtered compressed air and vortex tube technology to generate cold or hot air used for cooling and heating applications. Inside the Dual Action Personal Air Conditioners, a Vortex tube spins the supplied compressed air, separating it into hot and cold air streams.
- For cooling applications, the cold air stream is delivered to the vest, hood, or helmet via a ducting tube, while hot air exits out the exhaust muffler. The opposite is true for heating applications.
- The Dual Action PAC can be easily switched from one mode to the other by rotating the tube and swapping the muffler from one end to the other.
Temperature controlled air is distributed throughout the perforated lining of the diffuse air vest and collar. Distributed Air Temperature Differential: 45-60 deg F (20-33 deg C) from compressed air inlet temperature.
