SOLITHERM PELTIER cooling devices and dehumidifiers are based on the so-called Peltier effect. When DC voltage is applied, Peltier elements generate a temperature difference which, in combination with surface-enlarging heat sinks and forced ventilation, causes cooling in the control cabinet. The waste heat is dissipated into the environment via the separate ambient heat sink. Peltier devices do not require any refrigerant, have no compressor or pressure circuit and can therefore be installed in almost any position. However, condensate management must be considered separately.
SOLITHERM PELTIER cooling units work flawlessly even in very dusty and oily ambient conditions and at temperatures between -20°C – 70°C. They can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. The external IP protection class is IP 66 or NEMA / UL Type 4X. With cooling capacities from 30 W to 800 W and with AC or DC voltages, our PELTIER cooling devices have a wide range of uses in industrial applications.
