Pepperl+Fuchs offers various accessories to enable custom-fit remote I/O installations.
Bus termination modules and a fiber optic coupler and repeater are available along with cables to connect the base and extension backplanes used for module mounting.
FieldConnex Surge Protectors are available with optional integrated diagnostics. They indicate the end of their useful life via advanced diagnostics. A message in the control room indicates the affected spur. The LED of the surge protector indicates locally, which module requires replacement.
Different terminal blocks (screw, front screw, spring) with varying pole numbers can be purchased in either blue or black versions indicating Ex i or Ex e connections. Protective covers for terminal blocks, cold junction modules, and placeholder modules are also part of this portfolio.
