What are reciprocating compressors?
Reciprocating Compressors are one of the most widely used types of compressor. These units use pistons driven by a crankshaft to deliver refrigerant at high pressure from the low side to the high side of a refrigeration system.
ISC offers three different brands of reciprocating refrigeration compressors and knowledgeable cross-referencing assistance to prevent under or oversized units. Piston compressors have a low initial cost and a simple, easy to install design. There are a number of specifications to consider when selecting compressors, which include capacity, condensing temperature, evaporating temperature, flow rate, and power.
