A mist eliminator is a type of coalescing filter that has been designed for low-pressure drop and an extremely long element life. The primary function is to collect water droplets and oil mist from a compressed air system and divert the liquid to an appropriate drain. The mist eliminators also function as a washable, low-efficiency particulate filter.
