DuraGloveSynthetic, Extended Surface Prefilter for Reverse Mount DuraMAX Installations
- The DuraGlove Prefilter is designed to prolong the lifecycle of the DuraMAX 4v Final Filter in reverse-mount installations.
- Reverse-mount installations, in which DuraMAX 4v Final Filters are installed with the “V’s” as the air entry side, are common in inlet housings where limited space makes it difficult to install a separate bank of prefilters.
- The DuraGlove is constructed with durable synthetic filter media formed into a cube configuration and fits snugly onto the air entry face of the DuraMAX 4v.
- Several standard sizes are available.
- Cube style DuraGlove Prefilters are designed to fit the "V" side of DuraMAX Minipleat Filters. This prefilter will fit over final filters with 4 "V's" or 3 "V's". For Reverse Mount installations only.
- DuraGlove Prefilters are constructed with three-ply synthetic media. Prefilters with 3 or 4 individual pockets are available if required. However, field tests have proven the DuraGlove cube-style prefilter to have a lower pressure drop when installed compared to prefilters with 3 or 4 individual pockets.
