BTUH
The measurement of heat energy is called a British Thermal Unit (BTU). The amount of heat needed to elevate one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit is equal to one BTU, while the standard used to calculate the capacity of heating systems, such as gas furnaces, is BTUs per hour (BTUH).
The cooling capacity of the Delta-T Series ranges anywhere from 1,000 to 20,000 BTUH. Larger areas may need a greater cooling capacity. For instance,
5,000 BTUH: < 150 sq ft
8,000 BTUH: < 340 sq ft
12,000-14,000 BTUH: < 500-800 sq ft

The cooling efficiency of enclosure air conditioners, which is measured in kilowatts, tons of refrigeration, or BTUH, can be single-phase or three-phase. An air conditioner cabinet’s cooling capacity is its ability to remove heat from a space.
PHASE

RUNNING VOLTAGE

In addition to being available in 10,000 to 20,000 BTUH models, the Elite Series enclosure air conditioners can be manufactured for NEMA Types 12, 4, or 4X. All Elite models are available in 230V or 480V, and the 10,000 to 12,000 BTUH models are also available in 120V.
Hazloc Delta-T enclosure air conditioners are rated for use with both purged and non-purged enclosures, located in Class 1, Div II, Groups A, B, C & D hazardous locations. Environments included in Class 1, Div II have flammable gases or vapors.
The Hazloc Delta-T enclosure air conditioners are available in 2,000 to 20,000 BTUH models and can be manufactured for NEMA Types 12, 4, or 4X. Hazloc models are available in 120V, 230V, or 480V.
The Delta-T Top-Mount Series electrical enclosure air conditioner cools enclosures in the toughest applications with space limitations. In order to work in hot environments, these top-mount air conditioners feature a higher max ambient temperature rating.
The Delta-T Top-Mount Series enclosure air conditioners are available in 6,000 to 8,000 BTUH models and can be manufactured for NEMA Types 12 and 4 as well as 4X. Additionally, Top-Mount Series models are available in 120V, 230V, or 480V.
